COSTA PONTI ARCHITETTI is an architecture studio founded in 2002 by Chiara Costa and Claudia Ponti. Over the years, the studio has specialized in the design of residential spaces of various scale, focusing its work on composition, detailing, material research, and clarity of form.
The starting point of every project always stems from listening carefully to the client’s needs and desires, and then develops through thorough research and attention to every design aspect: from purely architectural considerations to material and color combinations, from the design of bespoke furnishings to the selection of design objects, everything approached with rigor and methodology. Our long-standing professional partnership is based on mutual exchange and complementary areas of expertise.

CHIARA COSTA
Graduated in Architecture from the Politecnico di Milano in 1989. Between 1988 and 1991 she worked in major architecture firms, taking part in national and international projects and competitions. From 1991 to 1995 she worked at Gae Aulenti’s studio on projects of various scales, museum installations, and design competitions. This collaboration continued even afterwards. From 1995 to 2020 she founded, together with architect Marco Zanibelli, the firm Costa Zanibelli Associati; the studio worked on numerous residential and university projects — including the Bocconi University student residences — as well as commercial projects. She began collaborating with architect Claudia Ponti in 2002, gradually forming a close partnership particularly in the design and construction of private residences, for which they jointly handle architectural design, interior design, and interior fit-out. This activity continues to this day.
CLAUDIA PONTI
Graduated in Architecture from the Politecnico di Milano in 1989.
During her training, she began her first collaborations with various architecture firms, gaining experience in all phases of the design process. Since opening her own practice in 1990, she has pursued a professional path of continuous growth through dialogue and collaboration with colleagues and professionals in the field. For over 20 years, she has shared the studio in Via Rasori with architect Chiara Costa, with whom a close and productive collaboration has developed.
She works on projects of various scales, with a particular interest in the definition and optimization of spaces, from small homes to large public facilities.
